Click on the topic of your choice:
No. You will be credited with the same service and salary you would have been had you not signed the agreement. You will continue to contribute to your public-sector pension plan for the duration of the agreement. However, your contributions will be determined solely on the basis of the salary you actually received.
Note that once your sabbatical leave ends, you must return to your usual work for a period that is at least as long as your leave, whether for the same employer or for another employer subject to the public-sector pension plan, provided the latter agrees to the agreement concerning your leave. If you do not fulfill the conditions of the agreement with your employer, he or she could terminate the agreement and consider that it had never existed, which could affect your benefits under your plan.
Nothing. Your employer will provide us with the necessary information so that the service and salary corresponding to your sabbatical leave is credited under your public-sector pension plan.
