CARRA administers the pension plans entrusted to its administration by the gouvernement du Québec or by statute. Its mission is to ensure that all the members and beneficiaries of the plans under its administration receive the benefits to which they are entitled. It provides the public and parapublic sectors employees with a continuum of services that go from enrolment in their plan to payment of their retirement benefits.
CARRA also provides its expertise for the actuarial valuations of pension
plans, various studies intended for bargaining parties and
pension committees, and the investment
of the funds entrusted to the
Caisse de
dépôt et placement du Québec
