CARRA > Clientele

In 2010, CARRA’s clientele was made up of about:

  • 554 998 active members of the various pension plans it administers;
  • 301 905 beneficiaries, including 274 309 pensioners;
  • 496 601 non-active members (people who are no longer members of their pension plan but who have conserved their rights to benefits);
  • 1 394 employers in the public service, the education sector, the health and social services sector, and in the municipal and supramunicipal sectors.

The two main pension plans administered by CARRA, that is, the Government and Public Employees Retirement Plan (RREGOP) and the Pension Plan of Management Personnel (PPMP) account for 98% of the active members served by CARRA.

CARRA maintains close ties with a large number of associations of beneficiaries, members and employers. It also cooperates with a number of pension plan administrators, particularly in other Canadian provinces and the federal government.
