Forms > Display or printing problems?


To make viewing and printing CARRA’s forms easier, we recommend that you use Adobe Reader This link will open in a new window. (version 8.0 or up). This software is available at no cost from Adobe.

How to solve a viewing problem

If your browser displays a blank page instead of the form you requested, press the "F5" key on your keyboard to force downloading. The "F5" key corresponds to the "Refresh" icon in the tool bar of your browser.

If your browser still does not display the form you want and if a small square appears in the left upper-hand corner of the blank page, this means that Adobe Reader may not be integrated with your browser. To activate this option, quit your browser and open Adobe Reader (version 8.0 or up) with the icon on your desk. Then simply follow these instructions:

  • in the tool bar of the application, click on "Edit";
  • select "Preferences";
  • in the menu on the left, select "Internet";
  • on the right, check the "Display PDF in browser" option;
  • click on "OK";
  • quit Adobe Reader.

How to solve a printing problem

If you use Adobe Reader (version 8.0 or up), certain parts of the form may not print if you have a PostScript type printer. To solve this problem, follow these instructions:

  • select "Print";
  • in the "Page Handling" section of the "Print" window, change the "Page Scaling" option by selecting "Fit to paper";
  • at the bottom of the same window, click on "Advanced";
  • in the "PostScript Options" section of the "Advanced Print Setup" window, change the "Font and Resource Policy" option by selecting "Send for Each Page";
  • at the bottom of the "Advanced Print Setup" window, click on "OK";
  • at the bottom of the "Print" window, click on "OK" to print the form.
